Practicing with lani

Today we pretty much planned out the show. Lani will say two lines of the story and then I will do a short puppet performance, then lani will say two more lines and so on and so on. We are going to change the backdrop half way through and whilst I am doing so behind the curtains Lani will be out front with a moving pop up book to add another level to the performance and to keep the audience entertained.

we decided that the ending to the story was a bit too grim and we changed it a bit to makesure we didn't scare any children.

we're still looking for a musician but i've been making lots of contacts so it shouldn't be too long before our theatre team is complete!

Strummer camp is scarily close and i'm really nervous about our first performance. Practice practice practice !
